''Played, Worn, & Torn''
Juliens Auctions will soon hold its second sale of Played, Worn, and Torn mementoes.
The event will be held in Nashville and online, on the 20th and 21st of November. Music fans can choose from a lot of clothing, ranging from Paul Stanley's custom cape to Donna Summer's gowns. And there's a good deal to peruse when it comes to Don Everly. Besides western shirts, a raincoat, shoes, and suits, there are even a couple of landscapes, painted by Don.
Proceeds from quite a few lots--particularly signed guitars from the likes of Keith Richards, Post Malone, Slash, Ziggy Marley, Graham Nash, and James Taylor--will be donated to the Sweet Relief musician's fund and Gibson Gives, which uses guitars to introduce and amplify the power of music.
A smattering of items, such as Eric Clapton's signed CD set and Eddie Vedder's autographed set list, will be sold to benefit another good cause, the Teenage Cancer Trust.
At last year's Played, Worn, & Torn auction, guitars played by Clapton and Kurt Cobain fetched over a million dollars apiece.
