Toys As Art
An art exhibition in Los Angeles is celebrating Mattel's 80th anniversary.
Eighty creatives have contributed to the Corey Helford Gallery show. Among them are Gary Baseman, an artist and cartoonist; Mark Ryden, who has been called the 'Godfather of Pop Surrealism'; and D*Face, a multimedia street artist (whose real name is Dean Stockton).
They explore how Mattel's iconic brands, such as Barbie, American Girl, Hot Wheels, and Fisher-Price, have shaped imaginations and inspired generations of creative journeys.
This runs through the 19th of April.
