Coca-Cola Artifacts On Display

A new exhibit is offering photo opportunities like transforming into a star of a vintage Coca-Cola ad or posing with a 1939 delivery truck. 

Coca-Cola Stories, at the World of Coca-Cola in Atlanta, also features an early 20th century soda fountain.

The show presents a timeline of the company's history and its influence over time. That includes the brand's appearance in movies and advertising.

 In addition, there are hundreds of artifacts from the archives.

The aim, according to a press release, is to take museum-goers through the company's pivotal moments since 1886, ''from its first pour at Jacobs' Pharmacy to its growth as a multinational corporation worth billions.''

This is also a more immersive experience than Milestones of Refreshment, which closed on the first of April.

It is called  Standard Station, Ten-Cent Western   Being Torn in Half , and could go for as much as $50 million. Lightfoot's Memorabilia

A popular performer's amplifiers, writing desks, clothing (shirts, vests, blazers, and jeans) and turquoise bracelet are going on the auction block next month. Also featured will be a variety of guitars owned by  Gordon Lightfoot . That includes the  Gibson  he used while writing  Sundown .   In addition, the sale offers photos and awards.  Gary Shrum , director of entertainment and music memorabilia at  Heritage Auctions , felt honored to work with Gordon's estate, as they have a ''deep love'' for the songwriter and brought in ''amazing personal pieces.'' ''Fandom'' in Florida

The   Florida Museum of Photographic Arts  in Tampa currently has a show which offers a look at both fans and performers. It's called  Fandom . The images are from photojournalist  Jay Nolan . He told the  Guide  that there are 27, with acts including  U2, Henry Rollins , and the  Cro-Mags . They are accompanied by a collection of concert posters and other memorabilia, courtesy of former  Virgin Entertainment   executive  Dave Alder .  The  FMOPA  exhibition will be up through the second of March, and a talk with Dave is scheduled for the 9th of January.  Alder is also a musician.
