''Days of Punk''
In Huntsville, Alabama, on November 6, photographer Michael Grecco will discuss what it was like to associate with the likes of Joan Jett and Johnny Rotten.
It coincides with his exhibit, Days of Punk, at the Huntsville Museum of Art, opening on the 17th of October and running through the first of February.
There will be over a hundred photographs on display, from the seventies and eighties.
The museum's Executive Director, Christopher Madkour, said that the artist's work ''immerses visitors in a moment when music, fashion and attitude collided to create a movement that continues to inspire generations.''
Grecco recalls walking into his first punk club at the age of 18, and feeling as if he could be himself. ''The spirit of punk was extraordinary, and I hope these images let others feel its infectious freedom.''

Days of Punk is also the name of Michael's book, published in November 2020, for which Fred Schneider of the B-52s penned the foreword.
