Played, Worn, & Torn

How would you like to own a bathrobe previously worn by Adam Clayton, a Gucci jacket from Tommy Lee or Elvis Presley's jewelry? Or would you prefer paintings created by Tony Bennett and Bob Dylan

These are some of the items to be sold at Juliens Played, Worn, And Torn Auction on the 20th and 21st of November. Other options include Ringo Starr's star-shaped tambourines, three of his velvet vests, and clothing from Bette Midler, Johnny Cash, and Madonna. And there are lots of instruments such as guitars played by Billy Gibbons, Rick Nielsen, and Carlos Santana

But one of the most unusual offerings has to be Presley's throat sprayer. The throat and nasal atomizer was used by Elvis under the guidance of a doctor called ''Dr. Nick,'' who verified its authenticity.

He wrote that the moisturizer helped ease the irritation and dryness which resulted from a condition known as ''Vegas Throat.''

Fans can choose from over 800 artifacts. A preview is now available at the Musicians Hall of Fame & Museum in Nashville, where the auction is to be held.

Those in New York can visit a related exhibition at the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square on the 12th of November.
