Guns N' Roses In The News

Two items affiliated with Guns N' RosesNovember Rain music video are being sold by the Gotta Have Rock and Roll auction house. Axl Rose's jacket and chaps worn by Slash are available through the 5th of December, during the first of two 2025 Winter Rock & Roll Pop Culture sessions (the second part runs through the sixth of December).

And in January, a book about the group's long delayed sixth studio album is expected.

It is called Magnum Opus: The Unbelievable 15-Year Saga of Guns N' Roses' Chinese Democracy. The Bloomsbury publishing company says it combines outrageous facts with never-before-told stories.

The author, James Greene Jr., told the Art and Music Guide that some of his sources chose to remain anonymous. Those who went on the record included musicians Dave Abbruzzese and Chris Pitman as well as A&R executive/producer James Barber and the group's ex-manager Alan Niven.

In fact, Niven has written his own memoir. His former clients are trying to block the release, citing a confidentiality agreement. Niven claims, though, that not all of the band members signed it.

Meanwhile, Guns N Roses have announced a 2026 world tour--and the release of two new singles next week.
