The Jim Irsay Collection

The late Jim Irsay's renowned collection of artifacts from the worlds of music, history, sports and literature will be offered by Christie's New York in a series of auctions beginning in March 2026.

This will include instruments played by entertainers as diverse as Elton John and Miles Davis. Jim used to tour with some of his memorabilia, and sang with guests like Ann Wilson, Kevin Cronin, Buddy Guy,  Peter Wolf, Vince Gill, and Stephen Stills.

Part of the proceeds from the auctions will go to causes championed by Irsay. That's likely to include Kicking The Stigma, started by the Indianapolis Colts owner and his family to tackle mental health issues in Indiana.

Christie's is also going to hold free public exhibitions at its Rockefeller Center location. You can sign up for updates at

Meanwhile in Indianapolis, there's now artwork honoring Jim and his team's 2007 Super Bowl victory.

The artist is Kwazar Martin, and he says it took him 24 hours to paint the mural at The Toy Pit.
