Music Veterans Announce Concert Changes

The Rolling Stones have scrapped plans for a 2026 stadium tour across the UK and Europe. No dates had been officially announced.

One reason, according to Variety, is that Keith Richards doesn't feel like he can commit to the rigors of another tour. The guitarist, who just turned 82, admits that his playing has changed, due to his arthritis.

The band is likely to release a new album next year, though. And an unnamed spokesperson claims they will get back onstage ''when they're good and ready.''

Another 82-year-old is rescheduling his January shows to undergo surgery. Barry Manilow revealed in a statement via Instagram that he has lung cancer.

The spot was caught early, and apparently hasn't spread. So Barry won't need chemo or radiation therapy.

''Just chicken soup and I Love Lucy reruns,'' he quipped.
